Is Deja Tu Paper political?
It is toilet paper. It reflects the world around it. Any resemblance to loud, recurring public characters has been noticed without our assistance.
Why not print a face?
The product is stronger as a premium object than as cheap novelty merchandise. Recognition without portraiture gives the audience a little credit.
Who is the “shitty neighbour”?
Everyone has one. Ours appears to have excellent name recognition. The phrase describes a familiar public mood, not a factual allegation.
Is this an endorsement?
No. DJTP is independent and implies no approval, sponsorship or affiliation by any person, campaign, office, manufacturer or prospective partner.
Could it offend people?
Almost certainly someone. The work avoids invented allegations. The roll remains soft.
